Event Description: The 105-minute event includes a brief discussion on the healing attributes of the Gong, some quick tips, and an extended 80-minute Gong and Sound Immersion, followed by sweets and community. Instruments include 6 planetary Gongs, 4 planetary sound plates and chakra realignment chimes.
The Gong Bath Meditation is best experienced lying down on your back or a similar comfortable position. Wear comfortable clothes and bring whatever you need to be relaxed for the meditation - yoga mat, blanket, pillow, water, eye mask, etc. Give yourself the gift to refuel and relax into the direction of what really, truly matters to you at this stage of life. De-stress, experience deep relaxation, renew body, mind, and soul.
Sound baths elicit the relaxation response and in the relaxation response the body relaxes, the blood pressure lowers, heart rate lowers and the body basically goes into healing mode. In times when all the storms are happening around, Sound Bath becomes a tool to release stress and anxiety, process emotions and realign energy centers of our bodies.
The sound immersion is usually experienced lying down on your back or a similar comfortable position. Wear comfortable clothing and bring whatever you need to be relaxed for the meditation - yoga mat, blanket, pillow, water, eye mask, bolster, etc. The studio also has some mats and blankets available in case you forget or don't have any.
