BONGS N GONGS - GONG MEDITATION
Join us on a transformative journey of healing and deep relaxation as we blend the wellness qualities of cannabis and CBD with Sacred Sound!

Beneficial Sound is in the midst of an equinox donation drive. During this drive, a limited number of thank-you gifts are available, in the form of a cannabis-infused Gong Meditation.

Cost: This private event is an exclusive benefit for Beneficial Sound donors.

If you’d like to be considered as a thank-you gift recipient (limited to 50), make a donation of $25 or more, and select “Bongs & Gongs PDX” from the Designation dropdown menu, or simply type Bongs & Gongs PDX in the donation message field. Donate Here!

The gift will be offered at The Haven PDX, a full spectrum experiment in co-creation where the fostering of creative community and personal growth of the artist takes priority. Their goal is to dispel the idea of the lonely starving artist while bringing the healing nature of transformational festival culture to the urban environment.

What to expect: A brief introduction to the healing attributes of Planet Gongs by Wayne Marto, Dr. Adie Rae will briefly discuss the benefits of CBD and cannabis. After the discussion, there will be a brief intermission followed by a 62-minute Gong Meditation. Samples will be gifted by Bridge City Collective. The Gong Meditation is followed by an informal community gathering in the Haven’s gallery, with a downtempo DJ set from none other than PLUMBLYNE (Jeremy Plumb).

According to research published on ProjectCBD.org, many people seek alternatives to pharmaceuticals with harsh side effects – medicine more in synch with natural processes. By tapping into how we function biologically on a deep level, cannabis and CBD can provide relief for chronic pain, anxiety, inflammation, depression, and many other conditions.

Gongs are precision sound healing instruments that acoustically elevate us, creating a deep, spontaneous meditative state that restores harmony and vitality to the mind, body and soul.

The Gong Meditation is best experienced lying down on your back or a similar comfortable position. Wear comfortable clothes and bring whatever you need to be relaxed for the meditation - yoga mat, blanket, pillow, water, eye mask, etc.

** Cannabis consumption not permitted in the studio **
