Relax and renew with a blissful two-hour Gong Yoga Workshop that includes gentle Yoga stretching, light Pranayama (breath work) and a 62-minute Gong Meditation all designed to leave you feeling tuned, refreshed and at the height of physical and emotional well-being.
What to Expect
We’ll start with a brief discussion on the healing attributes of Planet Gongs, and then you’ll be guided through several gentle Yoga poses that will help lengthen the spine and release any tension stored in the body. Easy and for everyone, these poses have been selected to open and activate each energy center.
Then we’ll use our breath to explore a simple but powerful ancient Taoist exercise known as the Microcosmic Orbit. We’ll visualize our breath touching each of the chakras as it travels up the spine on inhalation and down the front of the body on exhalation. This exercise stimulates the energetic body and puts us in an optimal state to receive the healing frequencies of the Gongs.
During the 45-minute Yoga and Pranayama, you’ll be delicately bathed in the balancing and aligning frequencies of chakra realignment chimes and tuned planetary sound plates. Once in savasana, the six planet Gongs will escalate the sound and intensity, leading you on a cosmic journey through deep space.
A special crystal gift awaits you to be activated during the Gong Meditation. You’ll be invited to reach into a purple velvet sachet, where one of seven chakra aligned crystals will select you as their new owner. The chakra crystal can be placed on the skin during the Gong Meditation to open and balance that energy center. The event concludes with sweets and community.
