GONG PLAYING INTERMEDIATE LEVEL II TRAINING

Event Description: Take your Gong playing to the next level. This class builds on the fundamentals that were taught in Level I. Completion of this class will prepare the player for combining more advanced striking patterns and creating sequences of patters to deliver a comprehensive Gong experience. We will also spend time discussing transitions between patterns and using volume for impact.

This is a Level II class and requires some basic playing background. Includes a 30-page syllabus.

PULSING THE GONG
BUILDING THE SOUND
USING VOLUME
THUNDERBOLT STRIKE
THE RHYTHM OF THE GONG

This class has an abundance of exercises with hands-on playing and includes a certificate of completion from the Beneficial Sound Academy. If you have a gong, you are welcome to bring it, however the studio will also have the instructor's gongs available for practice excercises.
